Maybe its the great Canadian music I heard at Scenefest, or the Olympic clips I'm still watching. The number of Canadians who won the Stanley Cup (even on an American team) or the fact that I'm living the closest I ever have to the U.S. border but couldn't feel farther from it. Regardless of the cause - I feel overwhelmingly patriotic this Canada Day. Our country has alot to be shameful of at the moment - from the Alberta tar sands to the disgusting display of ignorance and violence at the recent G20 but we also have much to be proud of . These two music videos put into words what I can't say about the country I live in and the town I consider my home.
